Festival At The Edge (FATE) 2012

The internationally famous story telling and music festival.

The festival takes place, annually, on farm land adjacent to Stokes Barn on Wenlock Edge, close to Much Wenlock. See more at
www.festivalattheedge.org

CAMRA members are needed as volunteers to help run the CAMRA beer tent – not forgetting set up/take down duties before and after trading days.

The dates for this year’s event are Friday 20th July to Sunday 22nd July. The bar will open around 5pm on the Friday and close around mid afternoon on the Sunday.

This is a great fun/hard work weekend and those wishing to stay over can camp/caravan for free! If you only want to work part of the festival, say an afternoon or evening session (as some of our regular helpers do), this would also be greatly appreciated.

There are outstanding views in an area of natural beauty to be taken in plus  plenty of free entertainment including some performances that take place in our beer tent (so you can work and enjoy these gigs at the same time).

There are also a variety of traders on site selling food, crafts, clothes, CD’s, books and a variety of other “nik-naks”.

If you want to help out please ring Dave Tyler on 01952 616085 or E-mail thetylers@live.co.uk
