Good Beer Guide
Selection Night GBG 2013
|
Our GBG 2013 Selection Night
on February 7th was again well attended, with 35 members braving the
freezing night air to cast their votes. Also I would think to see who was
'in' and who failed the final hurdle. This year we had 26 pubs to put
forward, and hopes were held for the north of the patch to gain some GBG
representation. There were many smiling faces at the end, but a few glum
ones as well. Just about all the 41 pubs on the list were worthy of
inclusion, but it is all down to numbers in the end, and 15 failed to get
the onto the list. As usual, all we can say if you are disappointed and you
didn't vote- well can we say more. Twenty votes were enough to achieve an
entry into the guide.
The POTY voting was :-
Band A Fighting Cocks, Oakengates
Wrekin
Inn, Wellington
Band B White Hart, Shifnal
All
Nations, Madeley
Band C Railwayman'sArms, Bridgnorth
Fighting Cocks, Stottesdon |
